 We welcome short or long term visitors to all of our sites. Perhaps you are passing through en route to a conference and want to give a talk? Perhaps you want to visit for several months as part of a long overdue sabbatical? In either case, we would be happy to consider hosting your visit.

Thinking about a sabbatical?

EPSRC, one of our UK funding bodies, runs a Visiting Fellowship scheme to support collaboration with "eminent" researchers from the UK and abroad. We would be happy to discuss applying for such a Fellowship to support all or part of a visit to one of our UK sites. We recently applied for and were awarded a Visiting Fellowship for Joe Culberson's sabbatical visit to Strathclyde. Money is available for salary, travel and subsistence, but is limited to 12 months per individual. Our impression is that if you can already cover salary, then the chances of success are greatly increased.
