13 - 17 August 2007

organized as part of
the European Summer School on
Logic, Language and Information

ESSLLI 2007, 6 - 17 August, Trinity College Dublin

Timetable:

17th May: Final camera-ready full papers to be submitted to daveccs.st-andrews.ac.uk, for publication in proceedings.
1st June: Deadline for early registration for ESSLLI. You may register here.
6th-17th August: ESSLLI'07 (19th European Summer School on Logic, Language and Information), Trinity College, Dublin.
13th-17th August: Workshop, "Exemplar-Based Models of Language Acquisition and Use"

Format for final papers :

Final papers must be camera-ready (containing names, affiliations and contact details of authors) full papers, and follow the ever-popular ACL two-column format, stylesheets for which are provided for MS Word and LaTeX here. Ideally we would like to see submissions of 10-12 A4 pages, which we think is about proportionate to the 30-35 minute time-slot you will have to present (plus 10-15 minutes for discussion), but if you feel what you need to say can be said in 8-9 pages, this is also acceptable. It is important that you specify A4 paper size and do not use page numbers.

All final papers should be in Portable Document Format (pdf), and be submitted to daveccs.st-andrews.ac.uk no later than 17th May.

Local Arrangements:

All workshop participants including the presenters will be required to register for ESSLLI. The registration fee for authors presenting a paper will correspond to the early student/workshop speaker registration fee. Moreover, a number of additional fee waiver grants will be made available by the OC on a competitive basis and workshop participants are eligible to apply for those.

There will be no reimbursement for travel costs and accommodation. Workshop speakers who have difficulty in finding funding should contact the local organizing committee to ask for the possibilities for a grant.

Information about accommodation at ESSLLI 2007 can be found here.
