Additional Information

I like to think of myself as quite sporty, although I generally talk a better game of sport than I play. Nevertheless, I like to run, which happens either along the roads or beaches of St Andrews. I have, in my time, played football, although a dodgy right knee and strained left thigh (as of 24th October 2006) have curtailed my career. Not that there was much to curtail.
I enjoy golf, and play with a beautiful power fade that to the uninformed looks like a horrendous slice. Every now and then I get a case of the chronic shanks. But I'm enthusiastic. I am a member of the University Men's Golf Club (2007/2008).
I have recently taken up the game of Go, and have found that I am quite terrible at it. However, I've joined the University society, and look forward to getting part way competent.

The Predict-a-thon

The idea is to predict the correct score for each of the Premiership's matches each week. This is more difficult than it sounds.
The BBC website runs a similar game, but it is not as good.

Former Winners

The 2005-2006 season was marred by my unsportsmanlike behaviour. I led all the way through the season, but by the penultimate week Briggs had eroded my entire cushion at the top. In a shocking move, I simply copied his predictions for the final week, thus ensuring a draw.
